Don't you love having your picture taken? As you can tell from this photo, not all of us were in the picture taking mood. Those in the picture include myself, my wife Marianne, and our four children (Emma, Gabrielle, Olivia & Luke). Believe it or not, out of several pictures taken, this was Luke at the peek of his excitement. But even though he was being somewhat stubborn about having his picture taken, I can honestly say that my love for him never wavered. In a way, it reminds me of God's unconditional love for us. No matter how stained with sin we become, God still loves us. As Romans 5:8 promises, "But God demonstrated his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
